Ghana’s Ministry of Education announced that over 1.4 million senior high school students will gain access to subject-based AI applications designed to improve teaching and learning outcomes. The initiative launched from October 2025 and represents a significant public access programme deploying AI tools directly into classrooms at scale. It complements the existing BSTEM programme that integrates AI, coding, and robotics into primary and junior high curricula.
