Madhya Pradesh introduces AI education in 53 government schools

Madhya Pradesh Open School Education Board introduced AI as a subject (Grades 8-12) with a 240-hour curriculum in 53 Education for All schools, reaching 6,462 students. The programme collaborates with Microsoft AI curriculum and Adobe Digital Creativity programmes. A teacher training model transfers instruction from Microsoft experts to school teachers over two years. An additional 54 AI labs are being set up across government schools, with 25 already operational.
