Pakistan launches ACT AI programme across 100 universities

Pakistan launched ACT AI (Awareness, Competency and Tools Training for Artificial Intelligence), a free eight-week programme across approximately 100 universities nationwide. The programme trains 6,000 students per cohort with a 50/50 gender participation target, delivered through a public-private partnership involving NAVTTC, HEC, and AI SkillBridge. ACT AI targets broad AI literacy rather than specialist technical training, covering tools, ethics, and practical applications.
