SENAI-SP (operating 90 vocational training units and 78 mobile schools across Sao Paulo state) partnered with ServiceNow to launch a statewide AI workforce training and certification programme. The programme combines instructor-led courses with practical labs, covering AI, digital workflow automation, and low-code/no-code development. A pilot achieved over 70 percent completion rates. The initiative targets 3 million learners by 2027 and focuses on youth apprentices and jobseekers. USP established CIAAM (Centre for AI and Machine Learning) and UNICAMP is launching a bachelor’s degree in AI and Data Sciences. The Sao Paulo Charter on AI Governance provides a multistakeholder policy framework developed during Brazil’s G20 presidency.
