Six Bahian institutions and the State Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation launched Rede Bah.IA, an AI literacy initiative with seven modules and 27 lessons covering AI concepts, digital culture, machine learning, ethics, and NLP. Free Saturday webinars run April-May 2026 for teachers. Separately, the State Education Secretary published normative guidelines for ethical, secure, and pedagogical AI integration in public schools in February 2026. Over 95,000 tablets were distributed to students in 2025 enabling access to AI tools.
