Chief Minister Mohan Yadav approved a roadmap to introduce AI skills from Classes 8 to 12 across all state schools, with officials directed to complete preparations before the new academic session beginning 16 June 2026. This moves beyond the earlier pilot of 53 selected government schools to a statewide mandate, with emphasis on regular monitoring, technology-driven learning, and innovation-based teaching. The expansion is supported by the Madhya Pradesh Open School Education Board’s existing Microsoft AI curriculum framework and the Sandipani Schools model already covering 50,000+ middle-school students, but the statewide rollout directive from the Chief Minister elevates the scope from pilot to policy.
