AltexSoft and the Kharkiv IT Cluster are jointly equipping 65 schools across the Kharkiv region with digital labs and learning infrastructure. The initiative distributes 300 laptops to establish 15 safe digital learning spaces in educational institutions, with plans to deliver an additional 1,000 laptops by end of 2025 to enable 50 more such spaces. This project addresses the urgent need for secure learning environments and digital access in an oblast heavily damaged by Russian military operations.
Wartime context: Kharkiv is experiencing intensive military damage; many schools have moved operations underground or to metro stations. This initiative prioritizes resilience and accessibility of education under wartime conditions.
Infrastructure focus: Provides foundational digital access rather than specific AI literacy curriculum, but essential prerequisite for any digital or AI education in the region.
Scope: Regional scale across Kharkiv oblast.
