Schleswig-Holstein deploys telli AI chatbot to all public schools and develops KI strategy

Schleswig-Holstein has made the KI chatbot telli available to all public schools following a pilot with 38 schools. Telli enables teachers to create fictional dialogue partners, learning scenarios, and subject-specific AI exercises. The Ministry of Education and Science is developing a dedicated KI-Strategy for Schools addressing AI impacts on educational instruction across subjects including foreign languages, literature, chemistry, and history. Schleswig-Holstein also runs KI.SH (kuenstliche-intelligenz.sh), a state portal for AI resources. The deployment is part of the cross-state AIS (Adaptive Intelligent Systems) project under DigitalPakt Schule, operational in Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg, and Bremen. Resources are provided free to schools via DigitalPakt funding; no binding AI curriculum mandate is in force.
