Toscana’s Ufficio Scolastico Regionale operates Scuola Futura Toscana, a regional programme offering free online training for school personnel on AI in education. The programme is guided by regional expert teams and covers AI tools to support teaching, practical workshops, and classroom application within ministerial guidelines (DM 166/2025). Toscana schools are also eligible applicants under the national PNRR snodi formativi call (DM 219/2025) for up to €50,000 per school to establish AI training laboratories. The combined regional and national funded provision creates free publicly accessible AI literacy resources for school staff across the region; no distinct binding regional mandate exists beyond national obligations.
