The Centro de Profesores (CEP) network in Cantabria, managed by the regional education authority, is running multiple dedicated courses on generative AI for teachers in the 2025-26 academic year. These include a 60-hour course on integrating generative AI in language classrooms (150 places, February–March 2026) and a semipresential course on generative AI in education through the CEP de Santander. The courses are government-organised through the official teacher professional development infrastructure and are free to public school teachers. Participation is voluntary, and no minimum AI competency standard is defined or mandated.
