The Junta de Castilla-La Mancha has introduced a Curso de Especialización en Inteligencia Artificial y Big Data at IES Azarquiel in Toledo as part of its 2025-26 Formación Profesional offer. The government separately allocated €160,000 to fund 13 FP innovation projects across the region that promote AI, digitalization, entrepreneurship, and technological development. Additionally, a dual FP programme with INTA (National Aerospace Technology Institute) covering AI and aeronautics was launched. These measures expand AI-related vocational pathways for post-secondary students but do not constitute a binding AI literacy curriculum for compulsory schooling.
