The Consejería de Educación of the Junta de Castilla y León will launch 62 teacher training courses in 2026 covering 1,707 lecture hours and reaching 1,121 vocational education teachers. The programme includes digitalisation and artificial intelligence as headline subjects alongside electric vehicles, cybersecurity, 3D prototyping, and electronics. Courses are run through the regional education authority’s official continuing professional development framework and are free for participating teachers. AI training for teachers is a voluntary, institutionalised offer — no minimum AI competency standard or binding obligation applies.
