The Consejería de Educación y Formación Profesional of the Región de Murcia expanded its 2025-26 Plan de Formación Permanente del Profesorado to include approximately 1,000 training actions and 50,500 places. The curriculum explicitly includes AI applied to education alongside edtech platforms, digital content creation, and online methodology. The programme is government-funded and freely available to public school teachers. No minimum AI competency standard for teachers is mandated; participation remains voluntary.
