CECyTEG (Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Guanajuato) signed an agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on 22 May 2026 to implement the first stage of the 2026 Programme for Standardisation and Calibration of Test Items, a pioneering AI-supported evaluation instrument. The pilot covers 42,000 students across 56 campuses in subjects including mathematics, reading, problem-solving, and AI literacy. The pilot tests ran on 23 and 30 May 2026 at four campuses. The IDB selected CECyTEG as the most solid upper-secondary technological education system in Guanajuato, recognising its educational quality and infrastructure.
