The Instituto de Formación para el Trabajo del Estado de Jalisco (IDEFT) completed an internal AI training cycle for 18 management, administrative, and instructional staff and subsequently launched a publicly available catalogue of AI courses, including “IA para Principiantes” and programmes focused on digital skills. The launch confirms the May 2026 rollout that was anticipated in earlier research, making state-funded AI courses available to Jalisco residents with official validity and a distance-learning format. This expands the publicly accessible AI literacy offering beyond the teacher-training Gemini Academy initiative already scored.
