Gujarat approved a comprehensive AI Action Plan 2025-2030 with six strategic pillars: secure data ecosystems, GPU/cloud infrastructure expansion including AI factories in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, workforce training targeting 2.5 lakh individuals (students, MSME workers, government officials), research and industry-academia partnerships, DeepTech startup support, and safe responsible AI practices with audits and risk protocols. The state established a dedicated AI and DeepTech Mission as an institutional mechanism bridging startups, government, academia, and industry.
