Pakistan launched a nationwide programme to train one million non-IT professionals in AI as part of a productivity initiative. The programme targets workers across all sectors, not only technical staff, and is delivered through partnerships with the Asian Development Bank, Meta, UN agencies, Huawei, and ZTE. The initiative complements the HEC mandatory AI course by extending AI literacy into the existing workforce rather than limiting it to students.
