Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes signs État-Région AI roadmap with Campus Région du Numérique training hub

The French state and the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes signed a joint roadmap for AI development covering applied research, training and AI adoption in regional small and medium-sized enterprises. The Campus Région du Numérique operates the operational training strand, publishing over 150 AI training programmes under three categories — AI core, AI applications and short AI courses — and serving as a regional aggregation point for public and private AI training provision. The regional academy delegation for digital education (DRANE AURA) runs complementary teacher-facing webinars under a national Mois de l’IA initiative coordinated through CREIA, including January 2026 sessions on using AI for reading, writing and teaching-practice transformation. The package is delivered through funded regional training infrastructure rather than statutory mandates, so it raises public training access without creating binding obligations at the subregional level. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes scores 1 on the public-access dimension on the strength of publicly funded AI training available through the Campus and aggregated regional offer.
