Nouvelle-Aquitaine commits France 2030 regional envelope to AI adoption and training

The préfecture of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Conseil régional opened three calls for projects under France 2030 régionalisé for the 2025-2026 period, with a combined envelope of €24M targeting innovation in regional firms, including AI and data science applications. In parallel, the Region and its development agency ADI Nouvelle-Aquitaine coordinate a dedicated AI and data sciences support programme, backed by the R3IA regional research network and the Cnam Nouvelle-Aquitaine continuing-education catalogue which includes advanced AI modules. Cap Métiers, the regional public employment and skills operator, provides ParcoursPro training sessions covering ethical use of AI in guidance practice, supporting job seekers in using AI for job search, and integrating AI into teaching. The regional package is funding and training infrastructure delivered on top of national obligations rather than an additional statutory mandate. It raises publicly available AI training in the region without creating new enforceable duties on employers or schools beyond national law. Score impact is limited to the public-access dimension.
