The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region adopted the “Piano Scuola Digitale 2025-2027,” a three-year regional programme covering school years 2025/26, 2026/27, and 2027/28, with a total regional investment of €1.89 million targeting 143 school institutions across the region. The plan focuses on Artificial Intelligence, augmented-reality tools, cybersecurity, and technological ethics. It funds the acquisition of AI and AR equipment for schools, provides teacher training in partnership with the University of Udine, and introduces well-being in the digital environment as a curricular strand. An ethics component (“etica tecnologica”) is explicit in the plan. The programme is distinct from the national DM 219/2025 PNRR fund and represents a regional government investment specifically allocating dedicated funding to deliver AI-inclusive digital education, with teacher training, to schools across the autonomous region.
