Ceuta signs convention with Fundación AI Granada to promote AI training and development

The Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta signed a strategic convention with the Fundación AI Granada R&I in March 2026 establishing a framework for AI and emerging technology activities including training, public education, research, and development. The plan includes AI training programmes targeting public sector staff, local businesses and entrepreneurs, young people, and the general public. The convention also supports the Universidad de Granada Campus in Ceuta to create a Cátedra (research chair) in AI and emerging technologies. This publicly arranged collaboration creates a structured, government-backed AI literacy offer for Ceuta citizens.
