The Región de Murcia announced five new training courses for public employees covering AI, cybersecurity, and digital competencies, with a projected reach of 5,200 professionals. Courses include practical AI tools (ChatGPT and related applications), digital signature, database management, and advanced productivity tools. They are delivered by the Escuela de Formación e Innovación de la Administración Pública (EFIAP) as part of the Plan Bienal de Formación, coordinated by the Dirección General de Función Pública. Additionally, the Instituto de Seguridad y Salud Laboral (ISSL) has for the first time integrated an AI-in-workplace-safety seminar into its 2026 annual plan. No minimum AI training standard is defined in law; participation is voluntary.
