The Wielkopolskie Voivodeship Authority established the Rada ds. Sztucznej Inteligencji (AI Advisory Council) by resolution on 22 January 2026. The council is an advisory and opinion-forming body supporting the Marshal of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship in implementing and developing AI-based innovations. It consists of 16 members drawn from academia, business, and the public sector, with a three-year mandate. Its inaugural meeting was held on 3 February 2026 in Poznań. The council has no legal enforcement powers and is explicitly advisory in scope; it does not constitute a regulator with a statutory mandate. The council’s formation was inspired in part by discussions about AI applications in healthcare.
